Reset Retreats

Due to the current state of world affairs, we have postponed retreats until further notice.

What is Reset?

 

Reset is a three day, two night, retreat on the organic lands of Hardwick estate, just a couple miles west of Reading in Berkshire.

 

It's a mind, body, emotions unification program/deprogram. When life has us caught in its matrix of webs and dead ends, we need a space to stretch out the old body, smooth out our emotions, and free our minds.

 

Come join us, it's time for a Reset!

 

 

How long is it?

 

Three days and two nights.

 

It will start on a Friday evening for a dinner and games to meet and greet. Saturday will be a full day of activities, and Sunday will be alight hike until after lunch.

 

 

What's included?

 

• Pilates

• Yoga

• Callisthenics

• Hiking

• Zhan Zhuang (tree qi going)

• Meditations

• Acupressure class and demo

• Taoist thought class

 

 

What about food?

 

Food will be provided by the local organic farm, Tolhurst Farms, and all other food will be exclusively organic, vegan and vegetarian.

 

A total of six meals will be provided, and some snacks for between programs.

 

 

What's the accommodation?

 

We will provide tents (bell tents) for those who need them (but excluding bedding, cots, sleeping bags, etc.). You are more than welcome to bring your own tent as well.

 

If you would like stay in your van, caravan, or horse carriage, there will be spaces for parking, but no on-site electricity (the whole point is to not use it during the retreat).

 

 

What about sanitation?

 

There will be composting toilets and a solar shower will be set up. Otherwise the Thames is within a couple minutes walk, which is more than lovely for a nice dip!

 

 

What about electricity?

 

There will be minimum electricity during the retreat. There is no on-site electric outlet, but we can provide solar powered lanterns for the evening. We do encourage all to switch off mobile devices once on the retreat.
